Internal Digital Sustainability

An exclusive service designed and developed through our partnership with Karma Metrix. It aims to measure, reduce, and report the environmental impact of internal digital technologies, while fostering a corporate culture focused on digital sustainability and employee engagement.

The needs we address

  • We build awareness and culture around digital sustainability by sharing practices, making the commitment to sustainability accessible to employees.

  • We promote employee engagement in the company’s sustainability initiatives.

  • We extend reporting to include the impact of employee activities.

  • We initiate a measurement process that is simple and has minimal impact on business operations.

What we do

  • Through an initial assessment phase, we analyze the as is situation with reference to:

    • mapping of internal devices

    • existing sustainability projects and culture

    • main internal communication assets

    Using a proprietary algorithm, we measure the environmental impact of internal digital properties (intranet, portals, mailing, video calls).
    The measurement is aligned with the GHG Protocol and GRI 305 emissions standards.

  • Through the development of a report, we share the findings from the assessment and measurement, highlighting potential corrective actions and providing a dataset on the digital carbon footprint that can be integrated into the Sustainability Report.

  • Building on the evidence collected, we design internal communication plans to share the measurement results with the entire organization, with the goal of:

    • embedding and consolidating a culture of digital sustainability

    • raising awareness of the Company’s impact through an employee-centric approach

    • creating training sessions and introducing internal best practices in digital sustainability

    • encouraging positive behaviors through challenges and dedicated employee call-to-actions

  • We identify and highlight potential areas for improvement from a digital sustainability perspective.
    We propose a review of channels and tools, from the proposition phase through to adoption, taking care of design, development, and technological implementation.

  • We plan for cyclical measurement (at least once a year) of performance, following a logic of reporting and continuous improvement.
